Based on a vintage soda fountain die cut of scoops of chocolate ice cream, this screen print is made with six hand-cut rubylith stencils printed by hand one layer at a time. Translucent inks are layered to create depth and delicious color.

We made these prints for Yucca Fountain, our 2019 full gallery restoration of a 1950s atomic era soda fountain at the University of Northern Colorado.
