The City of Beverly was appointed an Arts District and tapped Beverly Main Streets to be in charge of the organization. We were asked to design a logo for the new Beverly Arts Districts or "BAD". The challenge was to create something that mixed traditional and contemporary and could help brand the arts district without playing too much off of current city branding etc. We designed over 100 concepts for the project and eventually developed a color palette chosen by BMS. It came down to 4 final logos and a public vote. The winning logo is a play off of a stencil and a paint stroke both contemporary and traditional techniques. We then worked with the BAD Committee to develop the Live BAD, Love BAD, Be BAD branding campaign. Check out the BAD website for more details.
